Bergen County Clerk's Office No Longer Accepting Electronic Petitions
As of July 16, 2021 the Office of the Bergen County Clerk will NOT be accepting electronic petitions.
The acceptance of electronic petitions was dependent upon the continuing of the Public Health Emergency as initially declared by Governor Murphy by Executive Order 103 and continued by subsequent Executive Orders. As Governor Murphy, by Executive Order 244, has now terminated the Public Health Emergency declared in Executive Order 103, all Executive Orders and P.L 2020, c.55. Electronic petitions are no longer applicable, and their authority allowing for electronic petitions was also terminated with the termination of the previously declared Public Health Emergency.
